The Jean Ripley Foundation for Child Development is a registered charity that supports other Canadian registered charities that provide educational programs that incorporate literacy, art, or music; or charities that work to meet the basic needs of children so that they may participate in educational programs.

Jean Ripley established Fun with Friends in Chatham, and her pioneering work in puppetry and crafts paved the

way for future fun and educational childrens

programs.  Through this Foundation, Jean's family

and friends hope to continue sharing the joy, creativity,

and love that Jean gave so abundantly.

Applications for funding are accepted thorughout the year, with funding recipients being announced in July and August.

All of the above may include art, music, literacy, childcare, and special needs programming.
