FUNDING DETAILS

The Jean Ripley Foundation for Child Development is a registered charity that supports other Canadian registered charities that provide educational programs that incorporate literacy, art, or music; or charities that work to meet the basic needs of children so that they may participate in educational programs.

Multiple disbursements may be made each year, with each grant ranging in value from $500.00 to $5,000.00. The Board of Directors encourages applicants to be specific and detailed when requesting funds.

Disbursements are decided annually in July and successful applicants will be notified by letter at that time. The deadline for applications each year is May 31.

Interested and eligible charities may fill out the application form and mail it to the address listed on the form. Applicants are also invited to provide the Foundation with any supporting documentation (i.e. brochures, media coverage) that would enhance the application.
